Reed Buntings and Linnets at Barton Fields

The Barton Fields bird feeders attract many birds

There are usually about 5 Reed Buntings hanging around my feeders on Barton Fields
I have tried to count Linnets coming in to roost in the brambles at the western-end.  On 29 Feb I counted 25, with just 12 on 2nd March, but I believe I may have under-estimated numbers in both cases, as I think they come in a few at a time perching in the tall poplar for some time, before dropping down into the brambles.  I don't like to disturb them from the brambles.

update from Graham Bateman: 4 March – I counted 60 plus Linnets one evening.
