Grey Stockpiler

We were told not to stockpile on the lead up to Lockdown. Our regular Grey Squirell stored his stockpile in our lawn last autumn  and is now feasting on nuts from the Corkscrew Hazel by our pond. There are usually plenty of green nuts on this small tree in late summer but no sign of ripe nuts later in the year. Now, I see the Squirell excavating the lawn but not tidying up after his meal.
