Vulpine visitor to Peachcroft

I have my field camera set up in the back garden to see how many hedgehogs (and cats!) visit each night. To my surprise a Red Fox visited at four in the morning - this head shot was the best image. The garden is a good half mile from open country, has standard high fences all round and the hedgehog gap is too small for a fox - so can the fox climb that high, guess so? Probably, as I suspected and now confirmed, it was a fox that was responsible a month or so back for killing a pet rabbit further down our road and caching the body in the gravel beside my driveway - it was a big rabbit and another story!
