Butterfly and Beetle

A piece of 'wasteland' near Abingdon is quite good for insects. Recently I have found Small Heath butterflies and Alder Leaf Beetles there. The former is a declining species designated 'High Priority' by Butterfly Conservation. The latter is a very recent coloniser in Oxfordshire, spreading northward possibly due to climate change.
Has anyone else seen Small Heath in the vicinity of Abingdon or Radley? I have not seen this butterfly around here for many years.
