What we will see and hear about:
We will have a private tour of the Boarstall Duck Decoy led by a member of the National Trust’s staff. Boarstall is one of only four 17th Century duck decoys that’s been restored to working order. We will learn how the duck decoy was operated, and maybe we’ll see a few ducks.
After looking at the duck decoy, we can take a walk on the circular path through the 5ha ancient woodland at Boarstall, where we should be able to see some early spring woodland wildflowers, woodland birds and possibly some butterflies, if it’s a sunny day!
